THE PROGRAM

Neuroscientists, using the fMRI, have made new discoveries about how our brains work, how we process information and how we make decisions – while identifying what parts of our brains function in which manner. When the new neuro discoveries are integrated with what we already know about human behavior we enter new territory that impacts and enriches our work in Organizational Development.

To get an overview of this new approach, read the article in the March 08 SHRM magazine

"The Brain at Work" . One of the persons referred to frequently in the article is Ellen Weber.

ABOUT THE PRESENTER

Ellen Weber lives in Pittsford NY, and has agreed to present and facilitate our March 5th meeting – to be held in Batavia NY in the late afternoon. Here is Ellen’s description of that program:

We will facilitate a roundtable discussion, to answer the question: ARE YOU PROSPERING WITH THE BRAIN IN MIND? The roundtable will enable participants to learn from one another's amazing mental acumen for prosperity - in all that involves.

MITA Center leaders will toss in insights from the human brain as tools for building new neuron pathways forward. Participants will be encouraged to add experiences, pose questions, and help the roundtable to extend insights, as we gather practical tactics from neuro discoveries.
