Facilitated learning overpowers training

Excellent video interview of Jay Cross speaking about the power of informal learning effectiveness.

Brief synopsis by me;
The metrics for formal learning are not that sufficient. Training is just the corporate cultures word for school. These formal trainings have not and are still not effective. Informal learning is effective for learner centered organizations.

Speaking exclusively to TrainingZone.co.uk at the recent Learning Technologies conference, Jay Cross talks about informal learning, the benefits of social media and why it's time to retire the word 'training.'
