Experience and Metaphors for learning

Metaphor creates culture.

Experiential programs depend heavily upon metaphor for learning to take place.
By utilizing team building initiatives as a vehicle for the learning.
The concerns of metaphor and experience being wasted is when the content is not transferred into the experience.

For the initiative (which is serving as a metaphor) to develop a clear transfer, the facilitator is the central part in connecting the activity to the content to the process. This is accomplished by first beginining with the the individual; then moving to the team; and finishing with the organization.
